Product Empties #2

Hi everyone! Today I've got an empties post for you. I haven't written an empties post since August so I thought I would write one as I've collected up a few more products. These are products that I have used between September and October.

This heat defence spray has lasted me for about 4 months now. I haven't seen a difference in my hair quality, but I don't have many split ends. I probably wouldn't repurchase this as I'd love to try other brands. This spray does smell quite and it does spray an even amount onto your hair so that's a plus.

I love this shampoo as it makes my hair silky soft! It makes my hair feel much more glossy and look more shiny. I have noticed as well that it strengthens my hair without weighing it down. I will definitely repurchase this again as its really affordable.

I believe I received this for Christmas last year but I never got round to using it! The smell of this is divine and really does last on your skin for a long time. I have found that this does a great job of exfoliating my skin and removing dead skin cells. It also leaves my skin really soft afterwards! I have linked the 200ml version as I can't find the 50ml version on the website. I will continue to repurchase this!

This is so cheap and works really well! The scent is really refreshing especially in the morning. It foams up really nicely and leaves the scent on your skin for a long time. I will repurchase this in different scents as they have so many more in the range.

I picked up this little sample while I was looking around in Boots. Unfortunately this didn't really do much to my skin. It feel like it wasn't exfoliating my skin at all as there weren't any exfoliating beads or grains in it. Although It did make my skin feel quite soft and smooth. I wouldn't buy the full size of it as I don't think it is worth it considering it is £20!

Planet Spa Mediterranean Olive Oil Body Butter
I have been using skincare products from this range for years as its so moisturizing! It sinks into my skin straight away leaving a lovely fresh scent. I tend to go through these quite quickly as i'm addicted to the smell! I will repurchase this after I've used up some other body butters/lotions

Max Factor Wild Shadow Eyeshadow Pencils review

Hi Everyone! First of all i'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've had huge amounts of schoolwork to do :( So a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win a giveaway on Milkteef's Blog to win the Max Factor Wild Collection makeup. I was so excited to try these as they looked so colourful and different to my other makeup that I own. Today i'm going to be reviewing the eyeshadow pencils

(From left to right) Untamed Pink, Caramel Rage, Ice Fury, Fierce Lime, Bold Sapphire, Vicious Moss, Brazen Gold, Savage Silver.

As you can see these eyeshadow pencils come in a range of colours for all occasions and different makeup looks. These eyeshadow pencils are 2-in-1 and can be used for eyeshadow and eyeliner. This makes them pretty handy if you are travelling as you can use them for two different purposes.

The pencils are very pigmented and are really blendable. They also are long lasting which makes it great as you don't need to reapply them. The shades are quite shimmery and have glitter in them, making them perfect for parties or any other special occasions. They glide onto your skin easily and look great blended out in to the crease.

These are a fun way to to add a pop of colour to your eyes as they really stand out, but also are really wearable. The quality is great and the texture is really smooth even with glitter and shimmer in it! I cant wait to use these for Christmas as i'm sure they would look great with most outfits. You can buy these at Boots for £5.99 each.

My Autumn Nail Polish Favourites

Hi everyone! Long time no see, Today i'm going to be showing you my favourite nail polishes for Autumn. I love metalic nail colours for Autumn as they spice up an outfit and look great for day and night. So lets get started.

17 Nail polish
I got this nail polish last Christmas in a set so I don't think you will be able to buy it separately. This is a gorgeous turquoise colour that looks similar to the nail polishes you'd find in Topshop. You only need a few coats with this and it will last for a few days.

This is a gorgeous glittery pink colour that would look great for nights out and for Christmas. I got this quite a while ago but I've managed to find it on the Boots website. The only problem I have with this is that it does take while to get off with nail polish remover as it does have glitter in it. This is also really long lasting as well.

I bought this nail varnish from Fragrancedirect.co.uk as it was really cheap, around £2. This is my first matte suede nail polish so I was intrigued to try it. It is a gorgeous burgundy/ wine colour that looks perfect with autumn clothes. However it does come out darker than it looks in the bottle, so you only need about 2 coats of it. This lasts around 5 days so it is long lasting.

A purple shade for Autumn is a must have as they are really wearable! You can buy this from Superdrug. This is my favourite one from Barry M. As you can see it does have some shimmer in it which looks really nice on your nails. The swatch unfortunately came out much darker than it actually is so you might have to Google search for some swatches! This is a real bargain at £2.99 and is a must have for Autumn.

I absolutely love the colour of this and would look great with most outfits in Autumn. I also bought this from Fragrancedirect.co.uk. The quality is really good considering it was only £1.99. The brush is fairly small but still applies the nail polish evenly.  I would definitely recommend Calvin Klein nail polishes as you can find them on the internet for really cheap prices.

Hope you enjoyed reading this post!

L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Waterproof Mascara Review

Hi everyone! Today i'm going to be reviewing a mascara that I bought a few weeks ago. After hearing many of good reviews about it I decided to buy it. I bought this mascara from Amazon when it was on offer for only £2! So lets get on with the review.

This is my first ever mascara from L'Oreal that I've bought and I have to say I love it! I bought this mascara in the waterproof version as I feel that a waterproof mascara stays on my lashes longer. This mascara is definitely waterproof as it does take quite a few tries getting it off at night, so you need to use a decent makeup remover for this mascara!

The wand is plastic and has very small bristles. This makes it easy to reach the inner and outer corner lashes and stops them from clumping. The formula is perfect, not too runny or thick. This  mascara creates a lot of volume and definitely does curl your lashes. I also have found that it stays on really well throughout the day and doesn't smudge.

Natural Lashes
One coat of mascara

Two coats of mascara

As you can see from the photos, this mascara is great for building up coats with but also looks great with only one coat. I found it easy to reach the inner corner lashes as the brush is really thin, but sturdy. I would definitely buy more L'Oreal mascaras in the future

Overall I feel that this mascara works great for day and night and has amazing staying power. A big thumbs up from me! I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a waterproof mascara or a general day-to-day mascara.

You can buy this mascara from Superdrug for £10.99 or Amazon for £8.49

Also please tell me if you prefer these photos on a white background or on the floral bedcovers!

September Wishlist

Light Blue Cropped Jumper- Topshop £34
Navy Fur Parka Coat- Topshop £78
Ankle Boots- H&M £29.99
Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub- Lush £5.50
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo- Boots £9.75 on offer
Real Techniques Blush Brush- Boots £9.99

Its now officially autumn! I love autumn clothing as I love to keep warm and cosy. As I was browsing Topshop I came across this fur parka. This looks so warm and cosy and would be great for school as we're only allowed to wear navy and black coats. Next I saw this light blue fluffy crop jumper. This would look great with high waisted jeans and my leather jacket. I will probably get a lot of use out of it as well. I have been lusting over these boots for a while now. Arent they gorgeous! I love the style of these as they are similar to chelsea boots. I chose this colour as I only only own black boots. When I was looking on the Boots website I came across that the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo was on offer. I have also been wanting to try some more Real Techniques brushes. This brush looks really versatile as I could use it for blusher, powder and bronzer.

My Makeup Collection: Natural Collection

Hi everyone! Today i'm carrying on the series of brands in my makeup collection. My last post was about my Rimmel Makeup Collection. Natural Collection is a very affordable brand with great products. You can only buy Natural Collection makeup from Boots. I think this brand would be great if you're starting out with makeup and you want you want a range of makeup products which are cheap and cheerful.

Natural Collection Nail Tip Whitener £1.99
This is an average nail polish in my eyes. It doesn't stay on for that long but it is a good average nail polish. You can use this nail polish for french manicures and for an all over nail colour. This would look great in the summer with a nice nail art design over the top of it. It is also really affordable at only £1.99 so its a great bargain!

This is such a great everyday mascara. I have featured this mascara in my Mascara Collection. I wasn't expecting much as it was only £1.99 but I was wrong! It curls and thickens your lashes and adds some volume to them as well. However considering the name of it, I don't think it is waterproof, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a waterproof mascara.

I bought this powder quite a while ago when I was starting to get into makeup. As my skin is quite oily I wanted to try a powder. I personally prefer using pressed powder as it is easier and less messy. However this is great for reducing shine but you do need to top up after a few hours. I wouldn't recommend this if you do have really oily skin.

I absolutely love this powder! Its great for reducing the appearance of shine and leaves a great matte finish. I prefer this to the Rimmel Stay Matte powder, which everyone raves about as it lasts longer. It is also cheaper at only £1.99. This is perfect if you have oily skin. I chose the colour Neutral because I felt that it would look more natural on my skin. This is also great if you need to cover up any spots or redness. I would definitely recommend this!

This blusher is great! It has great pigmentation and lasts really well on your cheeks. I have also repurchased this a few times now as I've been impressed at how good it is. It is a lovely soft subtle pink which adds a great touch of colour to your cheeks. I would love to try the Peach Melba blush by Natural Collection as I've heard many great reviews about it. This blush is now a staple in my makeup collection and I would recommend it.

I'm not too keen on this duo eyeshadow as I feel that the pigmentation is quite poor. This is also reasonably priced at £1.99. I do like the lightest colour as it does work great for highlighting. The eyeshadow does have shimmer to it but it is not very noticeable. I wouldn't buy any more Natural Collection eyeshadows as they don't have great pigmentation and they don't last very long on your eyelids.

Natural Collection Lipstick in Rose Petal £1.99
This is the only Lipstick that I own from Natural collection. The colour is nice but it doesn't suit me at all. When applied, my lips look really patchy and it shows up dry areas. I would love to try different shades as I have seen some really nice ones. It is also a bargain at £1.99

I haven't heard many reviews on this product before so I was a bit skeptical about buying it. When I first used it I could see a difference. It works great for covering up any redness around my nose and on my chin. You can also apply concealer on top of it to make the redness appear even less noticeable. This is such a great product with such a great price! I would recommend this.

Overall Natural Collection makeup is a bit hit and miss with its products. But considering every makeup product from their brand is only £1.99 they are worth checking out!

Thanks for reading! :)

My Makeup Collection: Rimmel

Hi everyone! Today i'm going to be showing you my makeup from the brand Rimmel. I'm hoping to start a series of these with other makeup brands so comment below if you'd like to see them. Rimmel is a well known brand in the UK and is one of my favourites. So lets crack on!
(from left to right) 198 Azure, 265 Pop!, 275 Electric!, 280 Sunshine, 270 Hot Shot and 260 Green Grass (all 8ml)
The first items that I have to show you from Rimmel are these nail polishes. They are very affordable at only £2.99 each. As you can see I have chose quite bright colours for the summer. They are extremely long lasting and you only need 2 coats to get the maximum amount of colour. Overall, these are great affordable nail polishes
805 Grey Matter 12ml, 430 Coralicious 8ml
The next two products that I have from Rimmel are also nail polishes. These the the 60 seconds nail polishes. They have a wide brush which is great as it makes application much easier. Also, they do dry really fast. These are a tad more expensive at £3.69 but I do feel they are worth the money.

This is my only mascara that I own from Rimmel but i'm not very impressed  with it. As it has a big brush, it makes my lashes really clumpy and I found it hard to reach the inner corners of my eyelashes. This mascara didn't curl my lashes so it doesn't live up to its name. Hopefully next time when I buy a Rimmel mascara that they will work better. I also featured this mascara in my Mascara Collection

This was really a mistake purchase. I bought it in the wrong shade which is way to orange looking for me. Apart from that, it is really creamy and it does say that it lasts up to 14 hours, which is great for oily skin. This cost £5.99 which is not too bad for a powder considering you get a built in mirror and a sponge as well. This would be great to have in your handbag or your school bag.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent
This is contently raved about among youtube and on beauty blogs. I have found that it works best for me in the spring, autumn and winter times. As i have really oily skin, I've found that it doesn't work for me in the summer. Other than that, it is really affordable at £3.99. It will probably work for p
eople with combination skin but I wouldn't recommend it to people with really oily skin.

I really love this primer and I mix it with my Smashbox primer to keep my makeup last the whole day. This is great for people with oily skin as it keeps oil at bay. I also have found that when I use this under my BB cream, it makes it last longer and it applies better. I have had this product for about a year now and it still hasn't run out. This is quite cheap at £6.99 and I probably would buy this again.

Hope you enjoyed reading :)

please let me know in the comments if you would like to see more of these!
