My Autumn Nail Polish Favourites

Hi everyone! Long time no see, Today i'm going to be showing you my favourite nail polishes for Autumn. I love metalic nail colours for Autumn as they spice up an outfit and look great for day and night. So lets get started.

17 Nail polish

I got this nail polish last Christmas in a set so I don't think you will be able to buy it separately. This is a gorgeous turquoise colour that looks similar to the nail polishes you'd find in Topshop. You only need a few coats with this and it will last for a few days.

Boots N07 Nail Polish in 'Milan' £6

This is a gorgeous glittery pink colour that would look great for nights out and for Christmas. I got this quite a while ago but I've managed to find it on the Boots website. The only problem I have with this is that it does take while to get off with nail polish remover as it does have glitter in it. This is also really long lasting as well.

Revlon Matte Suede Nail Varnish in '863 Ruby Ribbon' 

I bought this nail varnish from Fragrancedirect.co.uk as it was really cheap, around £2. This is my first matte suede nail polish so I was intrigued to try it. It is a gorgeous burgundy/ wine colour that looks perfect with autumn clothes. However it does come out darker than it looks in the bottle, so you only need about 2 coats of it. This lasts around 5 days so it is long lasting. 

Barry M Nail Polish in '161 Vivid Purple' £2.99

A purple shade for Autumn is a must have as they are really wearable! You can buy this from Superdrug. This is my favourite one from Barry M. As you can see it does have some shimmer in it which looks really nice on your nails. The swatch unfortunately came out much darker than it actually is so you might have to Google search for some swatches! This is a real bargain at £2.99 and is a must have for Autumn.

Calvin Klein Splendid Nail Polish in 'Electric Blue' £1.99

I absolutely love the colour of this and would look great with most outfits in Autumn. I also bought this from Fragrancedirect.co.uk. The quality is really good considering it was only £1.99. The brush is fairly small but still applies the nail polish evenly.  I would definitely recommend Calvin Klein nail polishes as you can find them on the internet for really cheap prices.

My Makeup Collection: Natural Collection

Hi everyone! Today i'm carrying on the series of brands in my makeup collection. My last post was about my Rimmel Makeup Collection. Natural Collection is a very affordable brand with great products. You can only buy Natural Collection makeup from Boots. I think this brand would be great if you're starting out with makeup and you want you want a range of makeup products which are cheap and cheerful. 

Natural Collection Nail Tip Whitener £1.99

This is an average nail polish in my eyes. It doesn't stay on for that long but it is a good average nail polish. You can use this nail polish for french manicures and for an all over nail colour. This would look great in the summer with a nice nail art design over the top of it. It is also really affordable at only £1.99 so its a great bargain!

Natural Collection Water Guard Mascara in Black £1.99

This is such a great everyday mascara. I have featured this mascara in my Mascara Collection. I wasn't expecting much as it was only £1.99 but I was wrong! It curls and thickens your lashes and adds some volume to them as well. However considering the name of it, I don't think it is waterproof, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a waterproof mascara. 

Natural Collection Loose Powder in Cool Translucent £1.99

I bought this powder quite a while ago when I was starting to get into makeup. As my skin is quite oily I wanted to try a powder. I personally prefer using pressed powder as it is easier and less messy. However this is great for reducing shine but you do need to top up after a few hours. I wouldn't recommend this if you do have really oily skin.

Natural Collection Pressed Powder in Neutral £1.99

I absolutely love this powder! Its great for reducing the appearance of shine and leaves a great matte finish. I prefer this to the Rimmel Stay Matte powder, which everyone raves about as it lasts longer. It is also cheaper at only £1.99. This is perfect if you have oily skin. I chose the colour Neutral because I felt that it would look more natural on my skin. This is also great if you need to cover up any spots or redness. I would definitely recommend this!

Natural Collection Blush in Pink Cloud £1.99

This blusher is great! It has great pigmentation and lasts really well on your cheeks. I have also repurchased this a few times now as I've been impressed at how good it is. It is a lovely soft subtle pink which adds a great touch of colour to your cheeks. I would love to try the Peach Melba blush by Natural Collection as I've heard many great reviews about it. This blush is now a staple in my makeup collection and I would recommend it.

Natural Collection Duo Eyeshadow in Mink/ Sable £1.99

I'm not too keen on this duo eyeshadow as I feel that the pigmentation is quite poor. This is also reasonably priced at £1.99. I do like the lightest colour as it does work great for highlighting. The eyeshadow does have shimmer to it but it is not very noticeable. I wouldn't buy any more Natural Collection eyeshadows as they don't have great pigmentation and they don't last very long on your eyelids.

Natural Collection Lipstick in Rose Petal £1.99

This is the only Lipstick that I own from Natural collection. The colour is nice but it doesn't suit me at all. When applied, my lips look really patchy and it shows up dry areas. I would love to try different shades as I have seen some really nice ones. It is also a bargain at £1.99

Natural Collection Corrector Stick £1.99

I haven't heard many reviews on this product before so I was a bit skeptical about buying it. When I first used it I could see a difference. It works great for covering up any redness around my nose and on my chin. You can also apply concealer on top of it to make the redness appear even less noticeable. This is such a great product with such a great price! I would recommend this.

Overall Natural Collection makeup is a bit hit and miss with its products. But considering every makeup product from their brand is only £1.99 they are worth checking out!

My Makeup Collection: Rimmel

Hi everyone! Today i'm going to be showing you my makeup from the brand Rimmel. I'm hoping to start a series of these with other makeup brands so comment below if you'd like to see them. Rimmel is a well known brand in the UK and is one of my favourites. So lets crack on!

Rimmel I love Lasting Finish Nail Polish

The first items that I have to show you from Rimmel are these nail polishes. They are very affordable at only £2.99 each. As you can see I have chose quite bright colours for the summer. They are extremely long lasting and you only need 2 coats to get the maximum amount of colour. Overall, these are great affordable nail polishes

805 Grey Matter 12ml, 430 Coralicious 8ml

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Nail polish

The next two products that I have from Rimmel are also nail polishes. These the the 60 seconds nail polishes. They have a wide brush which is great as it makes application much easier. Also, they do dry really fast. These are a tad more expensive at £3.69 but I do feel they are worth the money.

Rimmel London Max Bold Curves Mascara

This is my only mascara that I own from Rimmel but i'm not very impressed  with it. As it has a big brush, it makes my lashes really clumpy and I found it hard to reach the inner corners of my eyelashes. This mascara didn't curl my lashes so it doesn't live up to its name. Hopefully next time when I buy a Rimmel mascara that they will work better. I also featured this mascara in my Mascara Collection

Rimmel London Match Perfection Powder in 201 Classic Beige

This was really a mistake purchase. I bought it in the wrong shade which is way to orange looking for me. Apart from that, it is really creamy and it does say that it lasts up to 14 hours, which is great for oily skin. This cost £5.99 which is not too bad for a powder considering you get a built in mirror and a sponge as well. This would be great to have in your handbag or your school bag. 

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent
This is contently raved about among youtube and on beauty blogs. I have found that it works best for me in the spring, autumn and winter times. As i have really oily skin, I've found that it doesn't work for me in the summer. Other than that, it is really affordable at £3.99. It will probably work for people with combination skin but I wouldn't recommend it to people with really oily skin.

Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer in 002

I really love this primer and I mix it with my Smashbox primer to keep my makeup last the whole day. This is great for people with oily skin as it keeps oil at bay. I also have found that when I use this under my BB cream, it makes it last longer and it applies better. I have had this product for about a year now and it still hasn't run out. This is quite cheap at £6.99 and I probably would buy this again.

Whats on My Nails #4

Hi everyone! Today I am wearing Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine in the shade 'Prickly Pear' Also I have used some of the Style Addict Nail polish from Avon over the accent nail which creates a really nice sparkle to it. This colour is perfect for summer and also lasts a long time without chipping! The formula is quite thick which gives a gel consistency and makes it appear more shiny.

 I only needed 2 coats of the Barry M nail polish to get the full effect. I would love to buy more of these Barry M Gelly Hi Shine's as they have a great formula and are reasonably priced.

Whats on My Nails #3

Hi everyone! Today I am wearing the Maybelline Color Show nail varnish in the shade 'Cool Blue' I received this nail varnish for my birthday last week and I can say that it is now one of my favourite nail polishes to wear.

It has great lasting power as I have nearly worn it for a week now, also you only need two coats of it to achieve the full colour. It is a lovely pool blue shade which reminds me of going on holiday! As you can see, I am not the best at applying nail varnish to my left hand as i'm left handed. I will be buying future nail polishes from Maybelline as they have a great formula and are affordable to.

My Summer Essentials/ Must Haves

Hi everyone! Today i'm going to be sharing with you my essential beauty products for summer. Hope you enjoy.

Avon Care Fresh Hydration Brightening Hand Cream
I absolutely love this stuff! Its really refreshing on your hands and smells gorgeous to. It has a lemon and cucumber extract which makes it even more amazing and great for summer. Its also great in hot weather, if you want to refresh your hands. The smell lingers for a long time. The formula really does moisturize your hands and gets rid of any dry areas. I would recommend this product

Hollister Laguna Beach Body Spray/ Mist 
I got this last summer and it was around £12. The scent is incredible. On the website it says it contains peach, guava and coconut milk. The fragrance reminds me of summer and the beach. Its great to freshen up with especially on a hot summers day. I love the packaging because I love floral prints. I would recommend this product.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
As you can see I have hit pan on this product. I have repurchased this about 3 already and I am going to repurchase this again. I have really oily skin and in the summer I need something that can control it. This works perfectly for me. It lasts up to 6 hours. I have it in the shade 'transparent' which means it has no colour so it won't make me look orange! It keeps excess shine at bay. You can purchase this at Boots for £3.99

MUA Nail Varnish in 'Pistachio Ice Cream'
I love MUA nail varnishes as they are a bargain at only £1 each! I also own 'Natural Days' This shade is perfect for summer as it is a pastel bright colour. You do need to apply 2 or more coats of it as it is a thin consistency. Nevertheless, its a great essential for summer as it brightens up your outfit! This sahde is also very similar to Essie- Mint Candy Apple which is £7.99. I feel that this is a great dupe for it at a fraction of the price. You can purchase this at Superdrug for £1

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
I have written a full review on this sample HERE. As I have oily skin, a primer is essential for me in the summer. I got given this and I love it! It has a matte consistency when you apply it to your face. It mattifies your face really well and helps foundation stay on for longer. You can buy the full size of this product at Boots for £25

The Body Shop Born Lippy Pink Berry Lip Balm 
My lips tend to get really dry and chapped in the summer so I need something to protect them. I have found this works really well in soothing my lips and moisturizing them. The smell of this is also lovely and is very fruity. You can get this lip balm in a variety of flavours. I luckily got this lip balm for free with voucher I had a few months ago. It has lasted quite well and I would definitely repurchase this when it runs out. You can buy this lipbalm HERE for £3

My Top 5 Summer Nail Polishes

Hi everyone! So today I thought I would share with you my top 5 nail varnishes for summer. In the summer I tend to wear a lot of nail polish as i'm not allowed to wear any at school :( Hope you enjoy!

Rimmel 60 Seconds 430 Coralicious  I love this colour! I have done a little review HERE on it.  Its fairly long lasting on the nails and doesn't chip for a long time. The brush is quite wide which means its easy to apply on your nails. The colour is quite bright which means its perfect for a pop of colour in your outfit! Nails Inc Atomic by Fabulous I have had this nail polish for a while now. I got it free with another Nails Inc nail polish from the Fabulous magazine in The Sun newspaper. The colour is gorgeous! It is a really bright orange shade which is great for summer to brighten up your outfit.  I wear this quite often in the summer as I really enjoy wearing the colour orange on my nails.

Jack Wills Nail Varnish in shade 'Jade' I got this from Jack Wills in a sale last year, it was reduced from £6 down to £3. The shade is a darker toned mint green colour. It goes great with any summer outfits and with a tan. I think it goes really well with a white top and denim shorts.The colour is long lasting and you only need 1 coat of it. I think any mint green colour works well in the summer, especially Mint Candy Apple by Essie.

MUA Nail Varnish in shade 'Natural Days' I have done a small review on this nail varnish HERE. The colour is a light pastel pink shade. I love MUA nail varnishes as they are really affordable at £1 each. They do many different shades which look great in the summer including 'Pistachio Ice Cream' which I also own. The formula I found is quite runny which means you do need to apply 2 or more coats of it.

Essie Nail Varnish in shade 'Lapiz Of Luxury'  This is my all time favourite nail polish. It is medium shade of blue which looks amazing in the summer and in all other seasons. The formula is also great as it is quite thick. The brush is wide which means it is easy to apply. It stays on your nails for a long time and doesn't chip unlike any other nail polishes. However Essie nail polishes are quite pricey at £7.99 but I feel they are worth the money.You can buy it HERE from Boots at £7.99

Hi everyone!, today i'm going to be showing you whats on my nails. Today I am wearing MUA nail varnish in 'Natural Days'

It is a light pastel pink shade and looks great for summer, especially with tanned skin! The formula of this I found is quite thin so you need to apply more than 1 coat to the nails. The packaging reminds me a lot like Essie nail varnishes, but a smaller version. It costs only £1 from Superdrug. You can buy this nail polish HERE. Overall I would rate this nail varnish 7/10

Whats On My Nails #1

Hi Everyone, today I am going to be showing you whats on my nails. Today I am wearing Rimmel 60 seconds nail varnish in the shade '430 Coralicious'

Its a hot pink/ light red shade and looks great for summer. It lives up to its name and dries pretty quickly! I applied two coats which was enough. The brush is quite wide which allows easy application. Overall I would rate this nail varnish 9/10
