What I got For My 15th Birthday!

Hi everyone! Sorry for not posting in the last few days as I haven't had much time to do it and it was my birthday. My birthday was on Wednesday (7th August). I had a lovely meal out with my family and received some amazing presents. My main present was money and i'm thinking about buying an Ipad Mini with it. A little disclaimer before I show you my presents, i'm not trying to brag in anyway, i'm just showing you what I received from my friends and family. I am very grateful for the presents and I thank everyone who has given me presents or wished me happy birthday on Instagram!

First of all I received this lovely bag from Accessorize. It has a lovely moustache detail on the front of it in gold. I am going to use this bag for school as it is quite big to fit a lot of folders and workbooks in.

I also received this small purse also from Accessorize which cute bicycle detailing all over it.

The next present I got was this cami top from Topshop, which I had asked for. I had my eye on this for quite a while as I knew that it would go with everything and would be great for summer.

I also got this gold spike necklace which is from the jewellery range in Superdrug.

I got this beautiful pearl bracelet from H. Samuel. It has small studs around the pearls which look amazing when you're wearing it. It is also great for me as I have small wrists and it fits me perfectly.
Next i got some makeup items. I asked for the blusher palette from Ebay as I have heard many great reviews about it. I have used it a few times now and its amazing. A full review will be coming soon!

I also got a Maybelline Baby Lips! I got it in the shade 'mint fresh' After using it a few times now I have found that it makes your lips go really tingly when you apply it. A full review coming soon!

I got another Maybelline product which is one of their nail varnishes. I got this in the shade 'cool blue' It is a beautiful shade of blue and reminds me of a swimming pool water colour. Haha!

I also got the Maybelline Dream Pure BB cream in the shade 'light'. I had been wanting this for a long time now as I thought that it would work really well for my oily skin. I might do a review on this soon after I have used it many times!

Next I received these Real Techniques Duo- Fiber collection brushes. After using my RT core collection I realized that I needed more of them as they are amazing at applying your makeup. I am so excited to use these and I will have a review on these coming soon!

I also got this Barry M nail art pen in silver. I have never tried a nail art pen before so I am excited to try this

Also, I got this set of Beauty UK nail varnishes. These colours are beautiful shades which are really nice colours to wear in the summer

The next presents I got were these 4 Yankee Candles. My mum had kindly put them in this cute silver glittery box which is great for storing things in. I got Pink Dragon Fruit, Summer Scoop, Clean Cotton and Vanilla Cupcake. They all smell delicious!

Lastly, I received 3 products from Soap & Glory. I was very excited when I opened these as I love the smell of them and are really moisturizing.

I am very grateful for everyone who bought be presents. I had an amazing birthday!

Hope you enjoyed this and thank you for reading!

Crabtree & Evelyn Pomegranate Hand Cream Review

Hi everyone! So today I am am going to be reviewing this pomegranate hand cream from Crabtree and Evelyn. I know this isnt a very popular brand in the beauty community but I wanted to share with you my opinion on it. I recieved this at Christmas last year in a set with other pomegranate smelling things. First of all, I love the smell of this it is gorgeous! This hand cream contains conditioning shea butter, macadamia nut, pomegranate, grapeseed and argan oil to moisturise and sooth hands. It also helps cuticles as it contains myrrh which conditions them.

The consistency/ formula
When rubbed into hands

My views

I love this hand cream. The formula is very thick and creamy whihc means it moisurises your hands really well. It absorbs into your skin well and doesnt leave a gresy feeling on your hands. Your hands stay moisturized for  a very long time so you dont have to reapply it that often in the day! Its great if you dont have a lot of time on your hands. Overall I would recommend this hand cream for everyone! They also have a lot of other scents, including lily, rosewater and lavender. You can buy this hand cream from the Website for £5

Hope you enjoyed this review!

Also tomorrow is my Birthday and I turn 15! :)

The Liebster Blog Award!

Hi everyone, Today I found out that I had kindly been nominated for the a Liebster Award! I was nominated by Manon from Cute and Wild. Thank you for nominating me!

At first I didn't really know what the Liebster Award was about as i'm fairly new to the blogging world. But after reading more about it I understood what it was.

The Rules:
- Nominees have to answer the 11 questions that are addressed to them by the person who has nominated them (me)
-The nominees then nominate 11 other bloggers that have under 200 followers and ask them 11 new questions
-The people you nominate need to be informed about their nomination

So lets get into it with the questions that Manon gave me!

Why did you decide to write a blog?
I decided to write a blog as I have a love for everything beauty and fashion related and I want to share it within the blogger world. I had been reading a lot of blogs and watching Youtube videos for a while now. I love anything creative and also I wanted to do something within my 6 week holiday off school.

What is the beauty product you couldn't live without?
This is a hard question for me as I have a lot of products that I couldnt live without.I would have to choose my Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer as it is amazing! It has great lasting power and great coverage to apply over spots and under the eyes.

What would you do if you won the lottery?
If I won the lottery I would go on many holidays all around the world. I would also go on a huge shopping spree around London. That would be a dream come true.

Do you have any dream in life or goal you want to achieve?
I would love to make my blog successful and expand it a bit more.I would love to achieve 1000 followers on my blog!

If you could spend a day with a celebrity, who would you pick and what would you do?
I would pick Cara Delevigne. I absolutely love her style and she inspires me so much. I would love to go out shopping in London with her and go to Topshop and Selfridges. It would be a great day out!

From where and who do you take your style inspiration?
I get my style inspiration from many places, including magazines, blogs and from Youtube. I love Zoella's style from Youtube and also Britt from http://just-loves-fashion.blogspot.co.uk/. I love looking at celebs style and get inspiration from them too.

Do you have a hidden talent?
No, I don't think I do... (boring I know)

Which scary movie made you freak the hell out of you?
I think Paranormal Activity. It's a really jumpy film and freaked me out for a number of days. As it also is based about real life, it made it even more scary!

Whats the first thing you notice about a guy?
The eyes. I love blue eyes.

If you were to buy a designer piece, what would it be?
I would buy a Mulberry bag. I just adore them! I really like the Mulberry Bayswater as it is such as classic piece.

Do you have any tattoos or do you plan on getting some?
No, I do not own any tattoos (i'm only 14) nor do I plan on getting one. I don't really find them attractive.

Here are my 11 questions for:

1. What is your favourite drugstore makeup brand?
2. What is your favourite high- end makeup brand?
3. Why did you create a blog?
4. What is the most expensive piece in your wardrobe?
5. What do you want to be when you are older?
6. Any guilty pleasures?
7. Do you have any pets?
8. Who are you inspired by?
9. What are your favourite magazines?
10. Where do you want your blog to be in 5 years time?
11. What is your favourite movie?

Please leave your answers linked in the comments box so I can read them! :)

InStyle Magazine August 2013 Mascara Review

Hi everyone! Today I am going to be showing you this months InStyle magazine and the Rituals mascara that came with it.

First of all I was attracted to the magazine by this months front cover celeb Chloe Moretz. She is an american film actress and i'm sure you have seen her in many films. She is absolutely gorgeous and I especially love her eye makeup on her. This months issue also features Style Secrets and some new trends. InStyle magazine is one of my favourite magazines including Glamour and Company magazines.

So this months issue came with a Rituals Perfection volume mascara. I've never heard of the makeup brand Rituals before so it was interesting trying out their mascara.
The mascara wand/ brush looks like a standard mascara brush. It reminds me of some No7 mascaras that I have tried.

Natural Lashes

After using Rituals mascara
We can see that the mascara has made a difference to my lashes. The lashes appear lengthened and volumizes. This mascara has also helped curl my lashes. Overall I have enjoyed using this mascara. You can purchase this mascara HERE from the Rituals website for £13.

Hope you enjoyed reading!

Small Haul: Primark, Superdrug and Boots

Hi everyone!, yesterday I went to town with a friend and bought a few things. I went into Primark, Superdrug and Boots.
First of all I picked up some clothes from Primark. I needed some pyjama shorts for the summer as I didnt have any. I saw these cute floral shorts for £3. They have a lace detail around the edge and remind me a bit of Cath Kidston. These were a great bargain! Secondly I bought this blue top which was £4. I had seen similar tops like this in Topshop a while ago for about £18. As soon as I saw this I rushed to go and grab it. They had many other colours, nicluding grey, peach and green. This would be great for summer and for autumn as it is a very versatile top to wear.
Next I went to Superdrug and bought an MUA bronzer. This bronzer is in the shade 3 which is a matte dark shade. I only own 1 other bronzer from ELF which is a bit glittery for me. This was also a bargain at only a £1. I also had seen a lot of good reviews about it, so I though I would give it a go.

I also went to Boots where I bought the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in shade 1 Fair. This is my overal favourite concealer and I would definitely recommend it. It provides great coverage to use under your eyes and on any blemishes. I bought it for £4.19. I also bought the Natural Collection WaterGuard Mascara for £1.99. I love this mascara as I use it mostly everyday. Its a great mascara to curl your lashes and provide volume. It also makes your lashes look really natural.

Hope you enjoyed my very first haul!

Thanks for reading

My Summer Essentials/ Must Haves

Hi everyone! Today i'm going to be sharing with you my essential beauty products for summer. Hope you enjoy.
Avon Care Fresh Hydration Brightening Hand Cream
I absolutely love this stuff! Its really refreshing on your hands and smells gorgeous to. It has a lemon and cucumber extract which makes it even more amazing and great for summer. Its also great in hot weather, if you want to refresh your hands. The smell lingers for a long time. The formula really does moisturize your hands and gets rid of any dry areas. I would recommend this product

Hollister Laguna Beach Body Spray/ Mist
I got this last summer and it was around £12. The scent is incredible. On the website it says it contains peach, guava and coconut milk. The fragrance reminds me of summer and the beach. Its great to freshen up with especially on a hot summers day. I love the packaging because I love floral prints. I would recommend this product.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
As you can see I have hit pan on this product. I have repurchased this about 3 already and I am going to repurchase this again. I have really oily skin and in the summer I need something that can control it. This works perfectly for me. It lasts up to 6 hours. I have it in the shade 'transparent' which means it has no colour so it won't make me look orange! It keeps excess shine at bay. You can purchase this at Boots for £3.99

MUA Nail Varnish in 'Pistachio Ice Cream'
I love MUA nail varnishes as they are a bargain at only £1 each! I also own 'Natural Days' This shade is perfect for summer as it is a pastel bright colour. You do need to apply 2 or more coats of it as it is a thin consistency. Nevertheless, its a great essential for summer as it brightens up your outfit! This sahde is also very similar to Essie- Mint Candy Apple which is £7.99. I feel that this is a great dupe for it at a fraction of the price. You can purchase this at Superdrug for £1
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
I have written a full review on this sample HERE. As I have oily skin, a primer is essential for me in the summer. I got given this and I love it! It has a matte consistency when you apply it to your face. It mattifies your face really well and helps foundation stay on for longer. You can buy the full size of this product at Boots for £25

The Body Shop Born Lippy Pink Berry Lip Balm
My lips tend to get really dry and chapped in the summer so I need something to protect them. I have found this works really well in soothing my lips and moisturizing them. The smell of this is also lovely and is very fruity. You can get this lip balm in a variety of flavours. I luckily got this lip balm for free with voucher I had a few months ago. It has lasted quite well and I would definitely repurchase this when it runs out. You can buy this lipbalm HERE for £3

Thank you  so much for reading!
